Having been brought up by the sea, I've always been a fan of the Coast Guard and their somewhat romantic, yet difficult and often tragic vocation. Hence our choice of this excellent reproduction sweat, made in the same way vintage sweatshirts such as Champion and the like were, in decades of old. That is, using a horizontal knit with ribbed sides, for strength, ease of movement and to prevent shrinking.
